British magazine crowns BTS’s V and BLACKPINK’s Lisa as the most popular K-Pop idols

BTS’ V has once proved his dominance in the K-Pop scene by being ranked as Most Popular male K-Pop Idol 2021 by Nubia Magazine. BLACKPINK’s Lisa was named the most popular female idol.

Based on research with data collected from 70 major SNS platforms, google trends, google news & even offline street surveys, Nubia compiled a list of the top 10 most popular K-Pop Idols Worldwide. The list included the likes of Cha Eunwoo, EXO’s Baekhyun, and BLACKPINK’s Lisa, but the top spot went to BTS’s V.

About V, the British Magazine wrote, “The man who literally wants to crash the internet with his fame and popularity. Our Research Shows: He is the most popular face and name in his group, we can boldly say he currently has the most dedicated fan base in the history of Kpop.”

On the question about what makes V the most popular member, the writer explains, “Well, he is a popular actor and a very successful music artist who is very good at what he does, be it acting or singing or even performing on a stage.”

They also boldly claimed that V is known by almost every K-Pop fan in the world. With V’s explosive popularity leading to his name being muted by Twitter after being mistaken as a common word due to the high frequency of mentioning, this claim looks very rational.

This achievement just added another title to the long list of monikers that V has.
